ACE USA announced today the appointment of Joe Cavolo as senior vice president and chief finance officer, Special Risk Facilities (SRF). Based in Philadelphia, Cavolo has responsibility for management of the financial operations for SRF, including reporting, analysis, budgeting, and accounting.
"Joe's breadth of experience and expertise in finance and risk management make him ideal for this position," said Bill Curcio, president of SRF. "His background in insurance combined with his proven track record of success in financial management will help SRF to continue its growth."

Prior to joining ACE USA, Cavolo spent 18 years with AIG Risk Management, holding a variety of finance positions, including senior vice president and comptroller. He most recently served as finance director for AIG Risk Management Group, a position he held from 1998 through January, 2001. He has also worked for Home Insurance Company serving as manager, Statutory and GAAP Accounting. He began his career at AIG in a financial management position.
Cavolo received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Iona College and passed the certified public accountant exams in 1982.
