ACE Limited (NYSE: ACE) announced today that Paul Medini has been appointed Chief Accounting Officer of ACE Limited, effective immediately. His position was previously held by Robert Blee, who assumed the newly-created role of Chief Compliance Officer in March 2003.
Mr. Medini joins ACE from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner with over 22 years of experience in their property/casualty insurance practice. His clients included many of the major insurers and reinsurers, both domestic and non-U.S. based.
Mr. Medini is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both from Pace University in New York.
Mr. Medini will be based in Bermuda and reports directly to Philip Bancroft, Chief Financial Officer of ACE Limited.
