Chair established in the name of ACE Limited Chairman, Brian Duperreault,

HAMILTON, BERMUDA, SEPTEMBER 28, 2004 - The Board of Directors of ACE Limited announced that it is honoring Chairman Brian Duperreault with the establishment of the Brian Duperreault Chair for Risk Management and Insurance at St. Joseph’s University. This gift to Saint Joseph’s recognizes Mr. Duperreault for the values, commitment, outstanding leadership and service he has demonstrated throughout his accomplished career. Mr. Duperreault is an alumnus and trustee of the Philadelphia-based University.
“I am certainly flattered by this very generous and profound gesture bestowed upon me by the ACE Limited Board of Directors,” stated Mr. Duperreault. “I am very proud of my association with St. Joseph’s University and feel that their Haub School of Business offers an outstanding curriculum on both the undergraduate and graduate levels.”
“Brian Duperreault has been a tremendous asset to St. Joseph’s and we are very fortunate that the Board of ACE Limited has chosen our school to honor Brian in this way,” said Joseph A. DiAngelo, Ed.D., Dean of the Erivan K. Haub School of Business. “The establishment of the Brian Duperreault Chair for Risk Management and Insurance brings added prestige and breadth to our university.”
The newly created Chair for Risk Management and Insurance will be housed in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business and further raises the profile of St. Joseph’s University by placing it in a select group of schools including The University of Pennsylvania, St. John’s University and The American College, to name a few, that have an endowed chair dedicated to this field. Among this select group, Saint Joseph’s is the only institution with a Wall Street Trading Room, CFP Curricula and an Endowed Chair in Risk Management and Insurance.
